Cheap Solar Panels

Cheap Solar Panels And Inverters

As the technology of solar power continues to improve, and as the industry continues to grow, introducing economies of scale to the production of solar panels, the price continues to drop. Making a good deal even better, it's possible to reduce the price dramatically by making your own solar panels from cheap, easily-available parts. Solar power lends itself to a decentralized approach (such as installing a rooftop solar system), and between the falling price of solar panels themselves, the unreliable but increasing price of oil, and the increasing availability of net metering, there has never been a better time to take advantage of this environmentally-friendly and inexhaustible source of energy.

    Buying New Solar Panels Cheaply

Although buying new solar panels doesn't allow you to get them as cheaply as buying used ones or (best of all!) making your own, it does provide the advantage of a manufacturer's warranty and a guarantee of quality. You'll have to decide for yourself whether these advantages are worth the extra money. Also, make sure that the warranty really is in effect and ask the seller how using it would work. If you have to ship damaged panels all the way across country or, even worse, to China, and wait for a replacement to arrive, you're not seeing much advantage.

The best way to buy new solar panels cheaply is to get them direct from the manufacturer or from the manufacturer's principle supplier. Not only does this cut out the retailers' profit margin, but suppliers are usually better about handling responsibility for warranty issues.

At least for the present solar panels can be purchased from Chinese manufacturers at a discount compared to domestic solar panels. However, it's important not to just do a Google search for "solar panels from China" or the equivalent. Instead, go to a known reputable manufacturer such as Yingli or Suntech to place your order. Delivery times from China can be a month or more, so you will also have to exercise patience.

    Do It Yourself Solar Panels

The most inexpensive way of all to get solar panels for your home is to make your own. To do this, you need a soldering iron and solder, plus a frame for the solar cells that will make up the solar panel. The frame is basically a shallow box into which you will fit the connected solar cells, plus a plastic cover to protect the solar cells from weather damage. Each solar cell produces about 1/2 volt in good sun, so you will need 36 cells linked together to produce 18 volts, which is needed to charge a 12 volt battery. The solar cells should be equipped with metal tabs when you buy them. This is slightly more expensive, but cuts the soldering needed to make your solar panel in half. Factory-perfect solar cells are fairly expensive (although you'll still be saving money compared to buying panels new), but factory seconds and blemished cells work just as well and cost considerably less.

It's recommended that you obtain a professional guide that details both where to go to buy the parts for your solar panel and how they should be put together. The solar cells need to be soldered serially (not parallel), and each group of cells needs to be connected correctly. It's not hard to do, but it is important to do it the right way. Making your own solar panels can save you hundreds of dollars compared to buying new solar panels or even making solar panels from a kit, so it's well worth the effort and investment.

Solar Lights

Solar Lights Indoor

One of the more common uses for solar power, even before the technology really takes off as a way to obtain energy for home or business use, is in the form of solar lights. Solar lights consist of a lamp, a monocrystalline solar panel, and a battery all in a self-contained system. The solar panel recharges the battery, and the battery powers the lamp. The battery recharges during the day while the lamp is off, and the lamp runs on battery power at night.

    Solar Lights For Outdoor Use

Outdoor solar lights are usually used for decorative purposes, but also can be part of a home security system to discourage intruders and burglars. Solar outdoor lights can be designed for general illumination or with a "spotlight" functionality. Often the outdoor lights are designed in antique motifs to resemble gas lamps or oil lanterns. Some solar lights have a whimsical, humorous design, shaped like fireflies or cartoon characters. Other outdoor solar lights are incorporated into lampposts.

    Non-Decorative Outdoor Solar Lights

Non-decorative solar lights for outdoor use include floodlights with motion sensors for home security. As with other solar lights, the bulbs are usually high-intensity LEDs. In this application, the LED lamps are designed to have output comparable to halogen lamps. Outdoor solar lights are also sometimes used for flagpole illumination, pool and deck lights, to illuminate the house address for nighttime visitors, or to illuminate walkways and parking lots. Essentially, any outdoor application can incorporate a solar design. In all of these applications, solar lights cost only slightly more than conventional halogen lights, and the difference is quickly made up in savings on electricity cost.

    Indoor Solar Lights

Although most commonly used outdoors, solar lights also have indoor applications. Individual solar lights are used in sheds, garages, and other places where self-powering lights are useful. Indoor solar lights are usually high-intensity LED lamps, which provide stronger illumination than standard incandescent bulbs and also use less energy. Just like outdoor solar lamps, indoor versions include a solar panel, normally a rooftop solar panel, and a heavy-duty battery that keeps the lamp working in cloudy weather or at night.

Indoor solar lighting can be as powerful as the solar floodlights and spotlights that are used for outdoor applications, but typically are used for normal illumination rather than specialized uses, and are designed for all-day lighting rather than just at night, which means that they have stronger and larger solar panels and batteries than most outdoor solar lights.

    Solar Light Strings

Solar lights are becoming popular in decorative strings, especially for Christmas lights. Like the more powerful indoor solar lights, most strings use LED bulbs in a string, with a solar panel and battery to power the string of bulbs. Otherwise, they function just like standard Christmas lights that don't have to be plugged in. Solar light strings come in various lengths and color combinations for various decorative purposes. They can be used either indoors or outdoors.

One advantage of solar light strings is that they don't need to be plugged in. This makes them more versatile for many outdoor holiday uses, since no cords need to be extended into the house or business to connect with the house or business electricity. The solar panel that powers the light string is not very large, as the power consumption is normally small, and in the better systems is itself decorative and incorporated into the aesthetic motif. The energy savings for this type of solar light are insignificant compared to some of the higher-intensity non-decorative solar lighting, of course.

How Does Solar Energy Work

How Does Solar Energy Work

We often tend to go about our daily lives without ever thinking about our envrionment but moving towards greener methods of power is important. We have technologies that allow us to power homes with solar power for homes and you can even learn to build your own solar panel. This is a wonderful thing for you to do for your home because it will save you tons of money in the long run and it provides you will a non-polluting source of power. However, in order to successfully power your home with a solar powered generator, you must learn about solar energy and how it works.

How Does Solar Energy Work In Your Home

Knowing how the process of solar energy will work in your home is a good idea because it will help you while setting up your solar panels and it can also be quite good if they ever break down and need repairs. Solar energy is simple to understand and it is basically energy from the sun that is captured using solar panels and then it is used as energy to power your home. The solar panels themselves are made up of cells that use silicon in order to work as conductors of energy. This energy is transferred to an inverter which is attached to your home's electrical system. This is how the energy is transferred from your solar panels to your home. The inverter takes the energy from the sun and sends it to your electrical circuits where it can be used through your electrical outlets. More often than not, this energy will be used as 120 volts of energy.

How Does Solar Energy Work At Night

Having a solar powered home is a nice way to keep your environment greener while also improving the pollution levels but one question that is often asked is how to use your solar energy to power your home at night or during cloudy days. The great thing about solar roof panels is that they will normally come with a type of battery unless you made it yourself and did not include one. This battery will take any leftover energy that was not used during the day and it gets stored for later use. This provides you with power on cloudy days and even during the night. To increase this build up for winter months are if you require lots of power during the night, you simply have to add extra batteries to your solar panel setup.

How Does Solar Energy Work To Produce Electricity

Using solar panels as an energy source can be just as effective for your home as using mainstream types of energy. Now that you have learned how the solar panels transform the sun's rays into energy, you should understand that by using multiple solar panels, you will be able to get more energy. In fact, some people choose to install several solar panels with lots of batteries for storing this energy. By storing the energy in lots of batteries, these homes can remain powered throughout an entire winter season. This makes it possible to power homes with solar panels regardless of how sunny your region is as long as you have enough equipment to store the energy while it is being captured.

Knowing how to install your solar panels is important and now that you know what you need in order to keep your home powered at all times, you should have no problem using solar power as your energy source. Having enough batteries to store the excess energy is important and you also need to point your solar panels in the direction that gets the most sun during the day. Following these rules will get your home powered by the sun in no time.

Solar Tubes

Solar Tubes

As humans we tend to rely more on technological advancements for our power methods and communication
method rather than relying on nature. This is extremely sad because nature is capable of so much more
than most people think. In fact, we used to rely solely on the powers of nature up until a few
hundred years ago. Now we have slowly lost our abilities to live with natural methods but the
possibilities of powering our homes are slowly coming back. One great thing that we have forgotten to
use properly is the sun light. Although the cost of solar panels is relatively high, they are worth
it in the long run and will actually save lots of money along with making the environment a healthier
    place to be.

    Solar Tubes Reviews

Aside from rooftop solar powering methods, there are other ways that you can use the power of the sun
to save money. The use of solar tubes is an excellent way for you to save lots of money while getting
a nice, natural sunlight in your home. Solar tubes are basically tubes that go from a home's roof all
the way to the interior of a home. With integrated mirrors and other simple mechanics, these solar
tubes are capable of taking the natural sunlight and bouncing it into homes. This gives the consumer
a natural lighting inside of their home without much money needed to set it all up. This ends up
saving lots of money on light bulbs and it also saves money as it will cost you much less to power
your home. Furthermore, natural sunlight is always much better to have in a home than artificial
    light.

    Los Angeles

Although solar tubes are not expensive, the use of this type of technology will greatly depend on
your location. If you live in Los Angeles for example, you will find these tubes to be quite useful
and they can be a great thing to add to a domestic solar power setup. Since Los Angeles experiences
several days of bright sunlight throughout the year, this is an excellent place to implement these
into homes. On the other hand, if you live a northern part of the world that tends to have terrible
weather year round, it would be much less beneficial. Either way, once a solar tube is installed into
your home it will not cost a thing to keep it functional which makes it a great way to spend some
    extra money.

    Solar Tubes Cost

Choosing to install solar tubes in your home is a great decision but now you will probably wondering
about the cost and how much money is involved with installation. The good thing about this type of
lighting is that the installation process is often offered by solar tube companies at a very
affordable price. Otherwise, you can easily find a good contractor in your area that will be willing
to do it for a couple hundred dollars. The cost of the actual solar tube itself will vary depending
on how big you need it to be but the general cost of a solar tube is between $500 and $1000 USD. The
key to getting a good price is to shop around before committing to a certain company so take your
time and find the best deal that offers good quality.

Installing a solar tube into your home will ultimately save you lots of money. The natural light
source will also be appreciated a lot more than regular light bulbs. All in all, this is one of the
best and easiest ways to light you home.

Green Energy Junkie

Using green methods to power your home is a great way for you to save money while actually saving the diminishing health of the environment. There are several plans and products available online that promise to help you out with your going green plans but not all of them are capable of delivering these promises. This is why we have decided to provide you with a review of one of these products called Green Energy Junkie. This product is brought to you by Alexander Hughes, a green visionary who can be contacted directly via the email provided in the contact us section of his website. He does not have any social network pages for his product but he has a great website with lots of information about the product. The advantages and disadvantages of solar energy show us that solar energy is a great way to power your home but having the best product to help you build your own domestic solar panels will make all the difference.

Homemade Power Plant Review

Homemade Power Plant DVD

We have recently tested out a new product that is available online and have decided to provide you with our honest opinion about this product. The product itself is called Homemade Power Plant and comes in the form of an eBook that you can download within minutes. This 115 page eBook was created with the main goal of attracting people who would like to set up a system for their homes that would enable them to power their homes without having to rely on big electrical companies. This seems like a good way to live without any attachments to other people but figuring our whether this is a scam or not is the big question on everyone's mind. Although this company may seem too good to be true, it actually gives you valid steps on how to build a powerful energy system for cheap.

    Homemade Power Plant Review Scam

The Homemade Power Plant system is not a scam in our opinion because it does offer valid information that has been used successfully by other people. This product is a great instructional guide that shows you how to save money when building your home power system. By using this product you will be able to find out how you can use every day items to create power for your home. The entire eBook is based on the writer's experience with powering his own home using natural resources such as the wind and sun. The downside to this eBook is the fact that the process of building your own power system is very precise and if you want to follow this guide you will basically have to follow the same steps that the author took. This does not leave users with a very large range of options but the method described remains solid and with a little creativity you can alter the method to meet your needs.

Homemade Power Plant Review Support System

Most of the available guides for home energy systems come with little to no customer support. This product does not have any social network integrations and the support team is rather weak. However, when purchasing this system you will get a 60 day money back guarantee which is a good way to test the product out without very much risk. If you do have any questions you are provided with a support team email address but the responses will take a few days. One of the nice things about this product though is that once you purchase this product you will receive any additional updates at no cost.

    Homemade Power Plant Review Bonuses

Whenever you see a product online there will almost always be promises made of special included bonuses that you can receive when paying for the original product. Homemade Power Plant is no exception but this company actually follows through with these promises. When you purchase this product you will be awarded with two additional eBooks which follow the same general theme of powering your home by making your own energy. One of the bonus eBooks gives you details on how to build solar panels for your home and the other bonus eBook gives you great tips on how you can reduce the overall consumption of energy in your home. The original product along with these two bonus eBooks makes this product a great buy, but it's still not the best on the market. This is not a collection of information but rather the opinion of one person and his personal experiences. You do however get over a hundred pages of easy to follow steps along with information on how you can use items that you already have to build an energy system for under $200.

Homemade Power Plant Review Decent Information

If you are a person who is truly committed to building your own energy supply then you will probably be willing to invest a decent amount of money into the construction of your windmill or solar panels. If you do have some extra money for your investment then you should consider buying this eBook which is available for $47 from the main website. The fact that you get an honest person's experience with the full guide on how that person achieved success using this method will surely help you out. However, this tool should probably be combined with another product as well because this alone might not be helpful if you are unable to reproduce the exact same wind turbine or solar panel. Overall, this is a great product if you already have other guides to back you up or if you already know a great deal about making your own power and wish to find out about a new method.
